European Drupal Business Days 2017 Frankfurt - First Recap
After 3 days packed with keynotes, workshops and fun it took us another 3 days to come down. We're still thrilled about the positive feedback we’ve received that it even feels a bit too good to be true. Nevertheless, we’re not stopping here to rest on success. In our opinion, this was just the beginning and the kick-off of something far greater.
Between May 18th and 20th, more than 180 C-level attendees from more than 30 countries came together in Frankfurt at the Radisson Blu to listen to 33 speakers presenting about the newest digital solutions, to exchange knowledge, and to set the agenda for future initiatives.
Some Feedback:

Thanks to trio-group for leading the initiative on hosting the European Drupal Business Days 2017 in Frankfurt. Also a big THANK YOU to our platinum partners publicplan, platform.sh and undpaul as well as our gold partners Amplexor, ETECTURE, Inviqa and adapt, our silver partners 1xINTERNET, Acquia and Crowd Creation and last but not least our Community Partners.
The Digital Executives Day on 18th gathered innovators and leaders which provided insights into the activities of some of the world's biggest Drupal companies. The event format incorporated three key topics where each of them was introduced by three topic leads followed by workshops. The goal of this format was to use the limited time as efficient as possible and to create action-driven results.

After the first round of sessions, participants started the group work focusing on business model innovation. As a tool, we've chosen the Business Model Canvas. The results will be published in an upcoming report.

CXO Dinner at Main Tower
After a very successful day, we allowed ourselves to enjoy an exquisite dinner at around 200-meter height in the Main Tower. A Thank You note goes here to trio-group for sponsoring all soft drinks, the wine and the beer. Also big thanks to Softescu for sponsoring the prosecco.
Results
We produced a big amount of structured ideas around the given topics, which currently are being digitalized and structured, and soon will be issued in a follow-up report.
Learnings from the first day
One of the key learnings were that two major topics can easily fill a full day program. At the upcoming business summit in Vienna on September 25th, we will focus very likely on 2 key topics instead on 3 and break down into sub-topics.
Read here about the Keynote Day on May 19th and soon about the Social Day on May 20th, 2017. Follow our Facebook or Twitter page to see the upcoming reports and video recordings first.
